He appeared on the census in 1800 in Chatham Co, NC. He died after 1849 in Marshall Co, TN. Benjamin Pyland was a Minister of the Gospel, located in Wilson Co, TN
1817-1818. He performed many marriages in the 1830s in Wilson Co, TN;
was there in 1840.
