Rutherford Co., Tenn., d. Sept 11, 1836 before his only child was
born. He married Melissa H. Davis, b. 1818 in Tennessee, who m. (2)
on Dec 29, 1846 James Clary Piland; they had one child, Clary b. 1847,
after which the mother died. James Clary PYLAND and Melissa F DAVIS had the following children:
