Rt., Imboden, passed away in Randolph County Hospital, Friday, July
13. He was born in Randolph County, Oct. 11, 1879, a son of the late
Samuel and Mary Pyland Hufstedler. Survivors include his wife, Mrs.
Mattie Dykeman Hufstedler of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Lou
Grissom of Rt. 2, Pocahontas; 3 sons, Glenn, Bob and Roe Hufstedler,
all of N. Star Rt., Imboden; 2 sisters, Mrs. Ellen Hollowell and Mrs.
Lizzie Fielden, both of Pocahontas; 2 brothers, Henry Hufstedler of N.
Star Rt., Imboden and W. W. Hufstedler of Egypt; 10 grandchildren and
8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday in
the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Oscar Davis and A. G. Lemmons
officiating. Burial followed in Old Union Cemetery under direction of
McNabb's. Pallbearers were Jimmy Grissom, Donnie Hancock, Steve and
Bobby Hufstedler, Joe Lawson, Bob Colston and Mike Wilson.

He was married to Mattie Eveline DYKEMAN after 1910. Mattie Eveline DYKEMAN was born on 14 Jan 1884 in MO. She died on 22 Oct 1974 in Pocahontas, Randolph Co, AR. She was buried on 24 Oct 1974 in Randolph Co, AR. MRS. HUFSTEDLER - Mrs. Mattie Hufstedler, 90, of Rt. 1, Imboden,
passed away in Randolph County Hospital, Tuesday, Oct. 22. She was
born Jan. 14, 1884 in Missouri, a daughter of the late William and
Mary Rollins Dykeman. Her husband, Richard Jefferson Hufstedler,
preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Earl E. Joseph of
Renton, Wash.; 3 daughters, Nola Hufstedler of Rt. 1, Imboden, Mrs.
Wilma Redding of Altamont, Kans., and Mrs. Thelma Woodring of Enid,
Okla.; a brother, Ralph Dykeman of Amarillo, Tex.; 2 sisters, Mrs.
Maxie Harmon of New Mexico and Mrs. Kate Britt of Amarillo, Tex.; 10
grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held last Thursday at 3 p.m., in the Chapel of
McNabb Funeral Home with Ralph Wallis officiating. Burial followed in
Old Union Cemetery under direction of McNabb's. Pallbearers were Gary
McMullen, Bobby and Stephen Hufstedler, Joe Lawson, Donnie Hancock,
and Mike Wilson.

He was married to Nola WELLS on 6 Nov 1910 in Imboden, Lawrence Co, AR. Nola WELLS was born on 7 Feb 1869 in Imboden, Lawrence Co, AR. She died on 28 Dec 1950. She was buried on 31 Dec 1950 in Randolph Co, AR. Richard Jefferson HUFSTEDLER and Nola WELLS had the following children:

child333 i. Lovell Jefferson HUFSTEDLER was born on 7 Feb 1912 in AR. He died on 18 Jun 1939 in Imboden, Lawrence Co, AR. He was buried on 19 Jun 1939 in Randolph Co, AR. LOVELL J. HUFSTEDLER - Lovell Jeff Hufstedler, aged 26, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Jeff Hufstedler, died at their home on the North Star Route near
Imboden Sunday morning, June 18, following an illness of only a few
days. Funeral services were conducted at Old Union church Sunday
afternoon. Interment was in the Old Union cemetery, under the
direction of McNabb Undertaking Co. He is survived by his parents;
three brothers, Glen of Water Valley, Robert and Roland, and a sister,
Mary Lou, all at home. Mr. Hufstedler was a nephew of Mrs. Hubert
Hollowell of Pocahontas.
