+14 i. Lena BATES.6. Norman BATES was born on 1 Jan 1822 in Pennsylvania. He died about 1906 in Navastoa, Texas. He was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Fayetteville. In "One Hundred Years of Fayetteville" published in 1928 it said that N.B. Bates came to Fayetteville to manage the stage line that the Sawyers from Vermont had bought from the Butterfield Stage Lines. Susan's parents Jebediah Sawyer, born 1792 in Cornish, Vermont and his wife, Susan Hutchins, born July 1795 Moultonboro, New Hampshire.
Susan Melisa SAWYER (daughter of Jebediah SAWYER and Susan HUTCHINS) was born on 8 Jul 1833 in Brattleboro, Vermont. She died
on 15 Mar 1909 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Norman BATES and Susan Melisa SAWYER had the
