76. Cullen Pyland 'Bud' HUFSTEDLER was born on 30 Apr 1868 in Birdell, Randolph Co, AR. He died on 28 Oct 1958 in Pocahontas, Randolph Co, AR. He was buried on 30 Oct 1958 in Randolph Co, AR. Obituary - C. P. HUFSTEDLER Cullen Pyland Hufstedler, aged 90, a
retired farmer and lifelong resident of Birdell, died at the home of a
daughter, Mr. E. L. Perrin in Pocahontas, at 9 o'clock Tuesday
morning. He was born April 30, 1868, a son of the late Samuel and
Mary Hufstedler, early settlers of the Birdell community. Mr.
Hufstedler had been a member of the Church of Christ since young
manhood. His wife was the late Laura Alcorn Hufstedler. They were
the parents of seven children, three of whom are living. Funeral
services will be conducted at the Birdell Church of Christ at 2
o'clock this (Thursday) afternoon by Bro. Riley Henry. Interment will
be in Old Union cemetery under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral
Home of Imboden. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Perrin of Pocahontas
and Mrs. T. C. McManus of Memphis; a son, Samuel Hufstedler, with whom
he made his home at Birdell; 18 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren;
four sisters, Mrs. Will Campbell of Tipton, Okla., Mrs. J. R. Lemmons
of East Pocahontas, Mrs. W. A. Fielden of Birdell and Mrs. Hubert
Hollowell of Pocahontas; three brothers, Henry and Jeff Hufstedler of
Birdell and W. W. Hufstedler of Egypt.

He was married to Laura Kibler ALCORN on 20 Dec 1888 in Imboden, Lawrence Co, AR. Laura Kibler ALCORN was born on 22 Jan 1868 in Randolph Co, AR. She died on 16 Jun 1930 in Randolph Co, AR. She was buried on 17 Jun 1930 in Randolph Co, AR. Obituary - MRS. C. P. HUFSTEDLER Mrs. C. P. Hufstedler died on Monday
afternoon at 2:30 at her home near Birdell. Mrs. Hufstedler was 63
years of age and was the mother of seven children, five living. She
is also survived by her husband. She was buried at Old Union cemetery
the following day. Rev. Joe Taylor of Blytheville conducted the
funeral services. She was a member of the Christian church and was
baptised forty-two years ago by Bro. H. H. Hollowell, father of H. H.
Hollowell of this city.
Laura's mother's maiden name was Kibler but Laura was an orphan. Cullen Pyland 'Bud' HUFSTEDLER and Laura Kibler ALCORN had the following children:

child+263 ii. Fannie Rose HUFSTEDLER was born on 27 Mar 1895 in Imboden, Lawrence Co, AR. She died on 27 Aug 1938 in Birdell, Randolph Co, AR. She was buried on 29 Aug 1938 in Randolph Co, AR. MRS. FANNIE WELLS - Mrs. Fannie Wells, 43, wife of Jim Wells, died at
their home at Birdell, August 26. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Bud Bufstedler. Funeral services were held at Old Union cemetery
Saturday afternoon. Interment was under the direction of McNabb
Undertaking Co. Mrs. Wells is survived by her husband and eight
children.
child+264 iii. Charles Bailey 'Huff' HUFSTEDLER was born on 16 Nov 1897 in Birdell, Randolph Co, AR. He died on 6 Feb 1953 in Birdell, Randolph Co, AR. He was buried on 9 Feb 1953 in Randolph Co, AR. Obituary - C. B. HUFSTEDLER Charles Bailey Hufstedler, aged 55, well
known farmer of Birdell, died in his sleep early Friday morning at his
home. Mr. Hufstedler has been hospitalized with an attack of
pneumonia but his condition ws thought to have been improved and his
death came as a shock to his family and friends. He was born at
Birdell, a son of C. P. Hufstedler of Birdell and the late Laura
Alcorn Hufstedler and had always made his home in that community. He
was married to Miss Nola Joseph in December 1922. Funeral services
were conducted at Old Union Church of Christ at 2 o'clock Sunday
afternoon by Bro. Lowell Blassingame. Pallbearers were his nephews,
Lester Jr. and Kenneth Perrin, Ralph and Frank Wallis, Waymon and
James Wells. Interment was in Old Union cemetery under the direction
of Higginbotham Funeral Home of Imboden. He leaves his wife; a
daughter, Mrs. Hallie Mae McMullen of Birdell; two sisters, Mrs.
Lester Perrin Sr. of Pocahontas and Mrs. Mazie McManus of Memphis; a
brother, Samuel Hufstedler of Birdell and a grandson, Gary Lynn
McMullen of Birdell.
